GateGraph – a gate that decides if an AI agent action may proceed before it runs
Current release: v0.22.7_CANDIDATE Base stable: v0.22.6_STABLE Status: candidate Focus: Public Review Surface / Integrator Boundary Clarification Phase: Public Review Surface / Integrator Boundary Clarification
Public Review Surface / Integrator Boundary Clarification consolidates the public and review-facing boundary surface before further runtime expansion. The candidate release clarifies current scope, vocabulary, non-scope and release metadata so reviewers can distinguish the present governance boundary from deferred future work.
GateGraph remains a deterministic governance/control layer for AI and agent workflows. It focuses on explicit decisions, capability-token boundaries, fail-closed behavior and reproducible audit/evidence surfaces.
This release does not add runtime federation, distributed authorization, token propagation, shared cross-node runtime state, consensus, self-healing runtime behavior or autonomous policy mutation.
The current production boundary remains single-node / local-protected. Boundary and cross-node references in this package are descriptive review and evidence surfaces only; they are not distributed runtime authority. See CURRENT_SCOPE_BOUNDARY.md and docs/BOUNDARY_VOCABULARY.md .
Repository-level adoption surfaces such as GitHub About text, topics, PyPI publishing, Docker images, and maintainer onboarding are tracked as out-of-artifact follow-ups. They do not change this package's runtime or governance boundary.
