Glad to see access coming back, but I’m still curious about what actually changed. These models were restricted because the concerns were apparently serious. Now, less than three weeks later, they’re being restored. So was the original risk overstated, were new safeguards added, or did Anthropic show the government that the problem could be managed? I’m not having a go. I’d just like a straight answer. If something is serious enough to pull from people, then suddenly safe enough to bring back, explain the bit in between.
