Show HN: ABC Classic 100 Rankings visualised
Every year since 2001, ABC Classic FM has run a Classic 100 event, where listeners vote on their favourite pieces.
This page visualises the rankings for three different years: The Original Classic 100 from 2001, Classic 100 10 Years on from 2010, and Music you can't live without from 2021
The lines track how the rankings for that piece have changed between 2001 and 2021.
You can click or tap on a dot to highlight that piece and show detailed information.
Other pieces by the same composer will also highlight in a lighter shade.
My favourite observation from this visualisation is that 'The Lark Ascending' started high in the rankings (#2) in 2001, descended in 2010, before ascending again in 2021.
