Kuwait says it intercepted Iranian drone attack
Kuwait's military said early Saturday its air defenses intercepted drone attacks from Iran.
In a statement, Kuwait's army said that"Kuwaiti air defenses are currently confronting hostile drone attacks following the sinful Iranian aggression."
"The General Staff of the Army notes that any explosion sounds heard are the result of air defense systems intercepting the hostile attacks," it added
The Gulf state has previously been targeted by Iran in retaliation for U.S. strikes, including on Friday when Tehran said it had attacked an American base in the country.
